Hallo,

erstmal vielen Dank für die schöne Komponente...
Bin gerade dabei das auf meiner Homepage zu testen, doch nun habe ich ein kleines Problem.
Beim Anlegen eines neuen Tracks lade ich Bilder mit hoch doch habe ich keine Möglichkeit die Bilder dann auch zu sehen.
Alles andere klappt soweit einwandfrei.
Hat jemand eine Idee was ich falsch mache oder woran das liegen könnte???

Das gleich ist bei mir.
Es wird kein Bild angezeigt, auch kein Link oder Thumbnail.

Kann die Bilder auch nicht am Server finden, obwohl das Laden ewig dauert - sieht also aus als ob ein Upload gemacht wird.

Braucht man ev. im Joomla den aktivierten ftp-Layer?

Wie und wo sollten die Bilder dann eigentlich angezeigt werden?

Any images you upload with your tracks should be stored in your default joomla images directory in a sub directory called joomgpstracks. There should be a seperate directory created here for each track you upload and it will be given a database generated 32 digit name.

Any images you upload with a track will be displayed at the bottom of the track view page using a little flash player called jdgallery. This is included in joomgpstracks and is even configurable in the php code.

As long as you've got java script enabled and some images in the database generated directory for your track, you should have images scrolling through at the bottom of your page.

thanks for your help...

i tried to copy some images in the track image folders and then the gallery apears...

so it seems that only the upload doesn't work...

i am playing around with joomla at a local installation in xampp...
the ftp server is not running and the ftp functionality of joomla is disabled...

could this cause my problems?

when i try to upload images the image list appears under the Browse button (see attached picture) but obviously they are not uploaded.

what could the problem be?

Have you checked what types of image file you are allowed to upload in your admin settings?

I would try changing the file extensions of your images to .jpg instead of .JPG or add JPG to the allowed file types.

The other problem you might be having is that of maximum allowed image size, this is also set in the configuration page and is in kb.
