I just checked out www.everytrail.com would it be possible to have a trip player like theirs? It also has nice graphs showing elevation over distance and speed over distance.

Yep thats a nice feature. I took a look on a Javascript Class which uses Mootools to create the charts dynamicly and i think with this class it could be done. But i`m not a Javascript Pro and this can take a longer time to include in joomGPStracks. Not to create the charts, but to work together with Google Maps. But first i want to have all other planed features included.

Someting to look at for a trip player Route maps with elevations, and the source is availbile to use.

Hehe, this function is just to get the distance between two trackpoints, similar like i do it with PHP. Thats more what we need.
GPX Player with Flex & Google Maps
Lets talk about it in 6 month, maybe then i`ve learned Flex programming, cause he only shows the Javascript code how to at a marker in Google Maps on the fly, not how to create the flex charts. And the Javascript i can do on my own.

And even Rome wasn`t build in one day!
