Charts 2 Years, 6 Months ago Karma: 3
I took a look on Google Charts Api and i like the generated charts. But the data needed to parse the image have all to be submitted over the URL and so there is a length limit of 2048 characters. If i use this google service i have to shorten tracks with many waypoints, this means i have to cut off a lot of waypoints.

But if we use google charts you have less traffic and you need less space on your harddisc and its easier to style the charts to fit your needs.

Should i use the google charts api? If yes it will took maybe 2 days longer for the next release, cause i have to change a lot of code.

I`ve uploaded a simple chart with this threat.

Looks very good, how many way points would this support, and would this affect the waypoints on the map?

It takes arround 800 waypoints, so if a track has 2400 waypoints, what is pretty much i think, i can use every third. I think thats enough. And the waypoints on the map are not affected.

Hi Michael, 0.3 is looking really good, can see you have been hard at work . One suggestion with the new graphs, would it be possible to start the elevation at say 50m below the lowest point and end 50m above highest point of the trip. Presently its start at 0m and it sort of flattens the route more if the route is higher in altitude, if you follow what I mean.
