Hi,

I am playing around wit Joomla and joomGPStracks.
I am trying to build a page where i can present my tracks and wanted to know if it is possible to change the color of the track in the map because sometimes the default color is really difficult to see.

How can i change the color? Which file do i have to edit?

Hi Lechi,

The colour of the track is set in the gpsClass.php file.

This can be found in: yourdomain/components/com_joomgpstracks/helpers/gpsClass.php

The line you need to edit is 596 where you will find a hexdecimal number representing the colour of the polyline.

It is set to #ff0000 by default which is red, you can change this to any colour you want for example #0000ff, which would give you a blue track line.

would also be nice to set weigth and opacity in the config...

Is it possible to display the track in multiple colors ?
I want to use multiple colors in my track to get an indication of the road quality e.g. Green is good quality, yellow is less quality, red is bad quality and so on
so you can see in the track the condition of the roads it's possible to device the tracks in garmins mapsource into several parts eache have there own color.
