Ok, think it`s better to open a extra threat for that.
The problem with the charts in IE is only with IE 8, with IE 7 everything works just fine. I can force the IE8 to run in IE7 compatibility mode by adding an extra meta tag to the site, but then the gallery won`t work. If somebody wanna test it add following code direct after the <head> tag in the index.php of your template.
| Code: |
<meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=7" />

For me this is one more of the thousend reasons to not use one of these f...ing bad products of the MS guys. For me as a developer it is allways extra work for that stupid internet explorers. They need extra css styles, extra javascript and extra what know i. The same piece of shit is it with Windows. Who needs this. Go and take a look on OpenSuse, Fedora or Ubuntu and if your are not gamer you will change. All these nice little desktop effects Vista have, are running with a Gnome desktop on my 4 year old workstation with 1GB Ram without any problems and without any costs.
So i do not change the charts, no way, these is my little fight against MS. Say your users they should use an other browser if they want to use all features. There are a lot of alternatives out there and they are all better than IE. I`m realy happy it is not allowed to MS to bring up Windows 7 with the IE included in germany. Maybe so some more change to FF or Opera.
